Auto Distortion Correction using Console

Hi,
I am using RT console to create JPG from RAW.
rawtherapee-cli -o “output.jpg” -w -p “profile.pp3” -Y -c “input.raw”

How can I enable AUTOMATIC LENS CORRECTION in PP3? I think it is not possible in console mode using *.pp3 file.
I would use LCP profile for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 (Leica D-Lux Typ 109) but it doesn’t exist…just for Lensfun.

Thanks for help
Petr

Hey

Automatic Distortion Correction can’t be enabled from the command-line nor in batch mode - Auto Distortion Correction in batch mode · Issue #2235 · Beep6581/RawTherapee · GitHub

My LX100 lcp isn’t perfect, but you can check it out Lumix LX100 and Rawtherapee

I actually prefer the Automatic Distortion Correction results, but there’s not yet a way to save that in a profile () or do it in batch from what I can tell.

@reagle: In fact I have been using your LCP profile:) I think it is the only existing LCP profile for LX100 / D-Lux Typ 109. But you are right that Automatic Distortion Correction works better in RT.

  1. Is it so big problem to enable Automatic Distortion Correction also for profile to use it in console mode?
  2. Why there are no factory LCP profiles?
  1. It shouldn’t be, but hasn’t been done yet.
  2. I’ve looked for them in the Adobe downloader but never found any. My guess: m43 cameras typically embed lens parameters in image metadata and commercial programs use this to correct the image rather than LCPs.
