Yeah, that agrees with what the manual says. Also, certain camera makers (cough Panasonic, Sony) actually crop the RAW file?! Like, Canon does it for the JPEGs (makes sense), but they don’t touch the RAW (just verified this by shooting a photo in 1:1). Good on Canon for being sane about this.
Yep.
Don’t know about sony, but they do even worse thing - apply lens corrections (vignetting, maybe CA) to the raw.
Hmmm. Just shot an image and pressed Info while looking at it. I think Canon does this as well (by default, anyway) - I just took a look at my camera settings. I don’t know if they apply it only to JPEG or if they apply it to RAW as well (the manual isn’t clear). Okay, looks like they’re doing it to the JPEG but not to the RAW. Cool, they’re sane about this as well.

What kinda of pictures are yall looking for? Is there any ISO, Lens or anything like that to be used?

* Lens mounted on the camera, cap off * Image in focus and properly exposed * Landscape orientationWe are NOT looking for:
* Series of images with different ISO, aperture, shutter, wb, lighting, or different lenses * DNG files created with Adobe DNG Converter * Photographs of people, for legal reasons.
It would be easier to discuss this on case-by-case basis.

I think i have explained that in the first post.
Just some normal landscape-type image - low iso, normal exposure, no people in the frame.
If there are multiple samples, they should have the same content - taken via tripod.
I have an EOS 80D, an EOS 5D Mark 4 and a Powershot G7X Mark 2. I do not have a color target. I’m still not clear on what sort of files will help you. If there’s something I can help with with my gear, let me know.
Does the G7X shoot raw files? There are already samples for the other two camera you have.

Thank you, but we already have the full sample sets for all these cameras. So no new samples are needed.
Alright. I saw 4 samples listed for the G7X, but only one listed for G7X Mark 2, so I thought you may be missing some from the Mark 2.
