There was quite nice winter storm and of course I’m getting sick right then. Went for a quick walk to get something to eat and got this photo from that short walk.

Was not feeling good, so had to use those things I had home. This potato has been over a year in cellar so it tried to grow new potatoes without light. I will sell signed copies of this potato photo. Price is 1 000 000€ (Internet told me that it is a market value of potato photos)

City said that it will cut some young pine trees so that older trees will have more space. This young tree was over 100 years old. I’m very sad for that destruction. It was very nice forest to go for walks, skiing and such and now it just looks something completely different.

New backpack for daytrips. Should last rest of my life and takes very nicely camera, tripod+ head, and some lenses. There is also space for trangia, food and replacement cloths.
Usually, snow doesn’t stick to the trees like in this yeti picture. It is more common in Lapland, about 600-800 km north of here. That was the reason I took that picture while walking in the forest.
The rest of the year, I have more time for this project. I started my seasonal holiday today.

Today, the temperature went up, and we got some fog. It worked pretty well as an outdoor studio with a white background. This tree is just a demonstration of the kind of portrait that would have been possible.
