Today I was walking around town when this person went swimming in the icy water. I have done that many years ago and started to think that maybe I should start that hobby again
For me this is what would happen if I found myself up on those hills with skies on my feet
When I took that photo, boys and girls (I would say under 15 years old) were just ending their training. They were jumping from two of the smaller hills. Close to these hills are even smaller ones and I have seen as little as 5-6 years old kids jumping from those. I would not dare to do that at all even from those hills

Weather forecast said that it should be snowing in the evening. Sadly did not, so no snow in yesterdays image.

I had “forgotten” some of my old books in my childhood home. Took some of the books with me. Some of the authors seems to be total assholes so might just dump few of these in trash bin.

Wife’s old Nintendo was still in working condition when we visited her old home. We had some ice hockey match with wife’s relatives. Players cropped away form this version.

Took also my old Game Boy consoles with me from while visiting home. Both of these still works. Could not found more popular games for these consoles, so need to use more time to look, when visiting there next time.
Particularly like the bird on the snow-covered conifer - it says “Christmas” (Northern hemisphere), in a way in which we can never say down here in the South.
This was a fun project to do. I had only a few days when I had to force myself to pick up a camera and take some pictures. I have 16 516 images from 2024 on my computer, and there’s still a lot of culling to do with them. Here are some statistics on the camera and lenses I used.
