Unfortunately I am not overly convinced of this version. It looks too artificial. 
A go with the experimental Spektrafilm module after white balance and tone equalizer adjustments. Finished off with color equalizer work on the water.

Same as above but negative film emulation and print rather positive (slide film). I have gone for deeper greens and slightly higher saturation.

I took a fresh look at this today. I stole the light painting from @Popanz, turned off tone mapping, contrast etc. and used the spektrafilm âfilmsimâ in vkdt to get a film-like look.
dt 6.0 â vkdt 3.4.1 Ektar 100 on Ektacolor Edge with âstrongâ tuning of M and Y filters.

Uli and others, I was experimenting a bit, most of it not mention worthy.
My goal: with a picture like yours having lots of green to separate the greens a bit better.
What I tried is this:
- make a mask for the greens
- use colorharmonizer, set it to monochromatic and chose a yellow as anchor hue. And of course only apply it to the masked picture using the mask mentioned above.
I kind of liked the result (no color calb, no tone mapper, no other modules exept exposure and before):
Will continue on this path.
It might work in other situations as well.
Doubling the module with same settings and some loc contr + sharpening I got this:
Which might be a base to work on with.

Itâs great to see so many different interpretations.
I was able to draw some conclusions out of them and think, I finally found my way to a satisfying render, closer to the image I had in mind.
I reduced brightness further and did something in between my first and my second render. With a bit of blooming but more conservative than on the last edit.

This one is really complex, nice to see how with each module, mask and settings you try to get closer to what you envision.

Thereâs a weird issue going on in my RT 5.12 with this file. The ARW looks just fine when I view it in XnView, but the file shows up with this out-of-frame area when I load it into RT (the distortion stems from applying the CR lens profile).

I could not load your xmp in Darktable 5.6.0 or at least it gave me some strange cropping and dark greenish tint. Are you using another build?
My Bad.
As an experiment, I tried using DaVinci Resolve to edit the RAW photo first, then exported it as TIFF. After that, I continued the final adjustments in Darktable (sharpening, rgb balance, etc), hence the xml does not represent the full original RAW process.

Although spektrafilm (I just pulled the latest from experimental branch)had issues loading it correctly but a dt export made it work. I love the photograph even though I canât put a finger on what exactly it is that makes me feel attracted to it. Maybe itâs the abundance of green and itâs various shades adding depth with those darker tones making up the left side while the bright sunshine (I wasnât there but I imagined it like this) makes those shades shine on the right side. also the little splashes of highlights here and there.
Itâs like the stream of water is adorned by jewelry around it. Yeah probably that explains why I love using kodak stocks with fuji prints! I will play with this a lot more in dt : )
I apologize for my uncontrolled love for diffusion and this time halation as well.
