That’s a shame. :frowning: It’s hard sometimes to remember to show empathy - you can’t be sure what some folks might be going through privately.

Side note, love the design the BBC team did for the story - I’ve seen a few of these from different news orgs and love that they’re finding a way to really stand out and use visuals in the storytelling to great effect.

Unfortunate. As soon as I saw the title Whirlpool, i knew where this was going.

I’ve worked in and out of the diving industry for longer than I care to admit, and these types of structures are exceedingly hazardous to people in the water.

There have been numerous fatalities involving these structures.
