I’m confused a bit by a discrepancy between the name of a slider in the “Banding Reduction” dialog window and the description in the tooltip of this slider. The name of the slider says, “1/Sigma Factor”. However, the tooltip says, “Background for lines is computed using pixels in SigmaFactor * StdDev only” (screenshot of the dialog from Siril 1.2-beta2) attached). Am I understanding correctly that this slider defines the strength of highlight protection and it is computed by multiplication of the slider value by standard deviation of the image?
