The sky is such a pretty blue I thought I would try an experiment to see if I could get the preview to look more like the image.

Yes, the polarizer effect on the sky is strong here. It also varies considerably across the image, which I tried to reduce.

Congratulations. I too use a Panasonic G9 with a Leica 12-60 and the brilliant Lumix 25mm f1.7
It’s sharp glass and the background blur, for m43, is superb.

I’m just getting started with learning the G9, but so far I’m quite impressed. I like the 25mm f/1.7 so much that I’ve hardly bothered using the two zooms.
Image stabilization is very impressive. I took a passable photo in very low light with shutter at 1/1.3s (0.77 s) using this lens.
I’m finding that I need to bump ISO sometimes, and with that comes sensor noise. I’ll continue to follow the discussion on dt-nind-denoise.
