Abandoning the '- - command' syntax

Hello there.
Back from vacations, and a thousand things to do now at home, but I’d like to tell you that the out-dated --command syntax will be dropped (in favor of +command), in next version 2.9.2 of G’MIC.
I’ve already started to modify the command files in gmic-community that were using this old syntax, to make them work.

I saw that you are doing code cleaning. I will follow suit on few of my cli filters (particularly, the hard to understand streak filter because of not enough spaces with tabs).

Glad that vacations are still possible in this stress-filled world. :slightly_smiling_face:

Given that you obsolete a feature wouldnt something like 2.10.0 or even 3.0.0 be a more appropriate version number?

Based on ideas from https://semver.org/

I did my part! I hope I didn’t make any mistakes there. I left the GUI part alone though as most of the codes are in the cli side of things.

Is there a software where I can scroll between two views at once cause I want to verify that I didn’t do any mistake.

EDIT: I checked. I do not believe there is error in what I just did.
