Add multiple instances to favourites

After downloading the new darktable 3.2.1 (I love it!) I added all my standard use modules to Favourites. This included multiple renamed instances of certain modules. However upon opening a new raw file, it appears only the 1st instance of each module is retained in Favourites. Is there a way for multiple instances to be retained? Given I use the same process every time, I would love being able to work from bottom to top without having to click ‘add new instance’ and ‘rename’ over and over again. It would save a lot of time. Many thanks.

I don’t think that’s possible. You can, however, create a style that contains multiple instances of the same module, apply that, and edit in the ‘active modules’ tab.

Works, thanks! Put preferred modules into favourites and saved as style. I didn’t realise styles could load ‘off’ modules.

Although since applying this something strange is happening, darktable has a real lag. Ie. there is a long time before clicking the power button and it actually coming on, or clicking a slider and it actually sliding. Have tried restarting darktable but didn’t help. Only happens on the image I have applied the style to, not on other images without the style. Any idea what the issue is?

Edit: Found the solution, delete xmp and start again. Looking at history stack it seems I’d loaded the style multiple times, which it must not have liked.
