Adobe DNG Converter: now with more Adobe?

I am not sure since when, but I just wanted to download the new Adobe DNG Converter to extract some illuminant matrices from their DCP’s, but I was greeted with a login screen for an Adobe ID.
Is that just me? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/adobe-dng-converter.html

So, I will now need to have an Adobe ID to access the free converter for their open standard? Adobe antics… :unamused:

It’s not just you…

Yep. Adobe wants you to sign in for everything, now, including their free Adobe Reader app.

I signed in creating a new account using Anna Bolika claire@grube.de and could download the dng converter. Just be creative

Edit: of course I did not use Anna Bolika and claire@grube.de to avoid tracking me to this post. But I guess Hein Bloed and hb@blaubaer.de would have worked as well

There are plenty of free pdf readers out there. check them out. You dont need adobe.

Much as I love Sumatra PDF and Okular, my company sometimes requires me to use fancy signing features etc, which requires Adobe. Which is sad on multiple levels.

But at least one can use Sumatra for everything else.

I know, right? I mostly use mupdf on Linux, but on iOS, the Adobe Reader seems to give me the best functionality.

A bit late, but I just downloaded Adobe DNG from the following link, and it doesn’t require me to have an Adobe ID.

That’s what sites like temporary email are for.
Get a throw-away email adres to go through the signup process to get your download, then you forget it.
