The laptop that I take on trips is fairly old - a Lenovo Ideapad 110 running Linux Mint. So Darktable just takes a little longer for some things.
However, when I use the new Crop module in DT 4, it has an annoying feature. I select crop, then go and adjust one of the borders. It is sitting working for some seconds, then it forgets my crop and displays the whole image again.
I figured out what is happening. I have to wait, after I select crop, for the initial processing to complete, before I move any borders to crop the image. Ideally, the module should not allow the user to adjust the crop until it is ready.
