Hi there, i am working on a long term timelapse and I use the little backup box to copy the new images from an action cam to a usb-drive. This works perfect. But as i am totally new to linux and raspberry, i wonder if it possible to rename the files on the USB-Drive into a specific format (e.g. YYYYmmddHHMM.jpg), before the raspberry shutts down.
It’s possible to rename and organize the photos by date using the dedicated script described in the Little Backup Book. The book describes how to trigger the script via a push button, but you can also make the script run before Little Backup Box shuts down. However, this does require some working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
