Currently when I post something in a topic its status goes from “normal” to “tracking”, which only ads a number to display new posts. I would like that every topic to which I post gets status “watching”, so that I get an email when a new reply is posted. Is there an option such that this happens automatically?
I saw the option “Send me an email for every new post (unless I mute the topic or category)” but that sounds like I will get an email for everything that is posted everywhere unless explicitly muted.
I believe that tracking will show you a count of new replies + notifications of @mentions or direct replies to your posts.
Watching will also notify you of all new posts in a topic as well.
I wasn’t able to find a setting for setting topics as “watched” if replied in automatically, but at the bottom of every topic is an option to set the topic manually to “watching”:
Sorry I wasn’t clear about that, I knew this options and was just
inquiring about the automatism. If there is no such option that is no
problem, doing it manually is no big thing, it would just have been
