Background Extraction Points and "Apply" Button

Hello,
yesterday I was made a sequence of 20 images of the Comet C2022 E3. It was full moon and a small amount of haze. This means that there is a background in the images which needs to be subtracted. Sirils background subtraction tool works quite well for this. However, in this case the sample points need to be chosen for every image separately, which is quite time consuming. Its an iterative process where you make corrections and press the “subtract background”, look at the result, make more correction, press the button again, until finally you press the “Apply” button and save the image.

I found there is one severe annoyance here. When you accidentally press the Apply button too early instead the “subtract background” button, all your carefully chosen sample points are gone and you have to restart at the beginning.

It would be really helpful if Siril could either remember the last set of sample points, or alternatively if it would ask for confirmation when pressing the Apply button.
