.badpixels file not found

Hello

The used badpixels file is not found, even though the filename is correct. It’s in the dark frame directory. The dark frame function with raw files works without problems. I have a Fujifilm X-T1.

Filename: Fujifilm X-T1.badpixels

Textfile content: 1896 3124

Many thx for your help.

Did you try verbose mode to see which .badpixels file rt is looking for?

Yes, I did. I also tried naming the file “Fujifilm X-T1 .badpixels” with the space before .badpixels.

I solved the problem. Somehow RT can’t read the badpixels file, if it is “saved as” with the notepad. I copied the RT options file into the dark frame directory, deleted the content and put in the bad pixels coordinates and “saved” it. Afterwards I changed the filename with the file explorer, somehow this way it doesn’t become a txt-file and RT can read it.

Or simply enable to view the file extensions and delete the .txt part XD

That is one of the very first things I do on a new Windows system (also show hidden files).

Glad you got it worked out!
