This is actually an outtake from setting up and testing for a family shoot last night. I needed to test the batteries were working ok in my triggers, so I asked my daughter to stand still for a minute while I tested. This is what came out…
Raw processing in RawTherapee, GIMP for cropping and retouching (some stray hairs), + G’MIC for some cleaning up.
YN560II flash firing at 3/4 power into a 60" photek softlighter, camera left. In really close.
Given the subject, can’t tell if it’s your genes or your photographic style, but I find she has the same expression as you on your avatar picture…

Someone made the same comment on g+ and I found it quite funny. I’d guess it’s probably a bit of both (she does look exactly like me at that age)?

and play the animation. I didn’t change anything to the pictures, just scaled Beverly’s picture to align the pupils… everything else fell in alignment. The only difference is the chin… Spooky.
PS: Moderate success trying to match skin tones using your technique…
