Hi,
just started and testing out.
I have a already stacked image from DSS and when importing it to Siril, it says load picture ok, showing (or something similar) and it just shows me a black picture.
Anyone have an idea what I am missing?

Hi, I think DSS tends to save images in a weird format, so I’m not sure it will always work. Do you know what format your file is?
The other thing is that by default the rendering of images in siril is linear, so mostly black. For a deep-sky picture, you could use the autostretch rendering instead, by selecting it in the combo box at the bottom of the window, where Linear is selected.
Good luck
The 0.99.6 cannot read DSS 32bits format.
The development version now can.
Oh, well… I will just wait then
Open the tiff in gimp. Save it as tiff 32b floating precision.
@lock042 - So export from DSS in Tiff, open and save in gimp as you mention and I can open it in Siril?
Yes if you save in 32b floating point precision. Not integer.
That works, thanks
