Blind plate solving time much longer on 1.3.6 than on 1.2.4

I tried blind plate solving the same image on both 1.3.6 and 1.2.4, using the local astrometry.net solver. It took 10 minutes on 1.3.6, but only 9 seconds in 1.2.4. I’m using the same common settings.
The file is a pre-processed 5208x3476 pixels fit file converted from a Canon RAW file. Is this a known issue, or could it be I’m missing something?

Some image information:
Resolution: 6.817 arcsec/px
Focal length: 129.50 mm
Pixel size: 4.28 µm
Field of view: 09d 51m 44.38s x 06d 34m 56.86s

Hi, there are more options to blind solve in 1.3.6 than in 1.2.4. In 1.3.6 did you select both blind position and blind resolution? Because 1.2.4 is only blind position (resolution is assumed to be known). That could explain the difference.
If not, pls share the image

Cheers

Hi, maybe I didn’t explain it well, but that’s what I meant with “same common settings”, as I’m aware there are indeed more available ones in 1.3.6. I’m not sure if I used the same resolution (if there is a specific setting for that), but I specified in both versions the same focal length and pixel size. I just tried again and it now took 18 seconds. I also had configured the same parameters present in both versions in the Astrometry section of the preferences. Since I could not reproduce the issue, I’ll have to see what made the difference. Thank you anyway!
