I didn’t think it would be appropriate to post in @ggbutcher thread with his great hummingbird shots Showcase:Hummingbirds!, but I managed to find one in mid-blink that I figured I’d share. This was a female ruby-throated hummer taken in my backyard in August 2021:

If you’ll excuse my thread incursion, here is the best shot I’ve ever taken of a hummingbird. And it wasn’t stiff competition because I’ve only got 2 photos of a hummingbird! This was just in a parking lot when I had my standard zoom on me.
