Canon camera styles

The Adobe .dcp camera styles for my Canon G15 compact give mixed results even in Adobe’s own Lightroom. However they can be made to work much better in RawTherapee if you switch off the DCP tone curve and use an auto-matched tone curve in Perceptual mode instead. The result is quite close (for landscape photos at least) to an image opened in Canon’s DPP raw processor. Sometimes small adjustments may be needed to the reds, but these can be easily done using the a* channel in the Lab module (I generally use a setting of -5 for the Red Pastel slider in the Parametric mode).
I don’t know if this works for other Canon sensors but it could be worth a try if anyone is interested in getting closer to the Canon camera styles.
