Exiv2 v0.27.4 has been delayed by security issues. I expect to release v0.27.4 RC3 tomorrow (2021-05-22). If there are no “show-stoppers” Exiv2 v0.27.4 GM will be released on 2021-06-15.
Exiv2 v0.27.4 has been a herculean task and I’m glad it’s almost over. I hugely appreciate all the many folks such as Alex, Luis, Milos, Christoph, Kev, Leo and Peter who have made this happen.
Although I have retired, I’ve volunteered as “release engineer” because that’s the easiest way to ship Exiv2. I suspect I will volunteer again in future, although hope that somebody else will deal with this chore. I will not develop code for Exiv2 in future as I am very happy to leave that in the very capable hands of Team Exiv2.
