Darktable 2.2.5, Canon D30 raw (crw) files some open ok but most have heavy green cast.
Rawtherapee V5.2 Opens all my D30 Raw files open with a heavy Magenta cast.
I know it’s an old camera… Is there anyone out there with a basic workflow that i can use to recover the images.
Thanks in advance, Terry
You can check the library of raw images used to test DT at https://raw.pixls.us – if your camera isn’t listed there, please submit some files!
I don’t have the camera any more. The D30 is listed in Darktable, But no “WB” Noise or Custom Matrix profiles are available… I’m not surpris and I’ve attempted to use other canon EOS camera profiles to no avail…
Thing that baffles me is why the same files have such a wildly difference in color cast between the two apps.
happy to the work, learn and share the results - I just need pointing in the right direction.
Can’t help you if you don’t upload any raw files.
Is one enough? (as i say i don’t have the D30 - so I can not upload the full range).
Yes, please share what you have.
I found a raw file from the EOS D30 at https://raw.pixls.us/ but still I get green and yellow pictures in darktable 2.4.0.
The lens correction also thinks it is a 30D and not a D30.
Raw files attached and under CC0.
EOS D30.zip (17.2 MB)

Lens correction module is lensfun.
Issue opened.
I also uploaded a raw file at Jeffrey Friedl's Image Metadata Viewer to check the exif. Seems the exif says my 16-35/4L IS is a 70-200/2.8L II IS. Need to check DPP if it says the same.
