You can do a selective copy and paste to a new image but it’s a fixed adjustment exactly the same as what was applied to the source image
That’s sucks. Any way around that - perhaps with programming so that auto adjustments affect the current picture?
I don’t believe so. But others are likely more qualified to confirm I think this has been requested before. For example. Filmic will read the file and make an initial adjustment if you have the scene referred WF as you default. I don’t . I like to see the image first so when I add filmic after I don’t get that. I generally use the auto picker to set it anyway so no issue really for me but as far as I know you cannot trigger this in a cut and paste…
Usually, a copy-paste of a tool is to capture the particular parameters used on an image, to apply in-situ to another. I did futz a bit with those semantics putting together clipboard support in rawproc, and I settled on the parameter thing…
