Thanks for sharing. My attempt: Darktable 4.4.2.
I found it quite a challenge. I tried to do the same thing two different ways - this was the better of the two. The Orange sunrise(?) has a few distinct bands (dust?) which I found caused havoc with the masks. Overall an interesting composition.
