Clear-out of old lenses.

Free to a good home.
I am disposing of these lenses.
They are:
Pentacon 3.5/30 42mm thread
Jupiter 11 4/135 42mm thread
Tair - 3S 4.5/300 42mm thread
MC zenitar-K2 2/50 Pentax K mount

They all appear to have some sort of coating and the optics look clean.

Free of charge to anyone who wants them, although I would appreciate the postage. If someone wishes to contribute more, the excess will go to charity.

I would add a photograph of them if I could see a way if doing it!

You may want to mention what country/region you’re in, as shipping out of country/region (EU) can be a PITA and also costly.

Thank you for pointing this out - I should have said that I am in the UK.

I think it’s very kind of you to give away these lenses. However, some of the glas might have more than “nostalgic” value. Maybe it would be better to sell those on ebay (or or wherever) and if you like you could donate the money to a good cause.
Just a thought.

I don’t use online auction sites. If no-one wants the lenses they will go to the skip.

No, please don’t throw them away. If no one wants them, I will gladly take them. But maybe @zerospate is interested, he is a specialist in the use of old lenses.

Perhaps @Claes as well

If you have a charity shop for one of the majors like Oxfam nearby and the glass is of any value, they will probably sell them via eBay rather than just put them in the shop window, especially if you tell them they have some worth

You are very welcome to these lenses.

I have no idea what the postage cost would be. I see you are in Wales, so if reasonably local to me (Flintshire) it may be easier to hand them over.
The 300 mm Tair has no lenshood or front lenscap, but I have found the original green filter which will protect the front element in transit.
The Zenitar is a Pentax K mount - to use this with a full frame DSLR it is necessary to modify it to avoid fouling the mirror. It involves cutting down the stop preset lever and removing a piece of metal adjacent to this lever.
There is information on the internet as to how to do this.
I have two of these lenses, one of which I intend to keep, as on my Canon (crop factor 1.6) I will have an 80 mm F2.0 equivalent lens.

Regards,
David.
