Used basically only selective editing tools in Rawtherapee apse-improv branch. Testing the sigmoid function and using chromatic adaptation under viewing conditions to warm the image.
Converted to PNG with FastStone, made a threshold and it’s inverse masks in the GIMP, edited shadows and highlights separately, merged, then USM’d to taste:
I liked the original edit, but the LUT was not available to me. so here is my attempt to warm the sunshine and keep the ‘natural’ as shot colors of the shade.
Adjusted colour balance and zones, and lightness and chromacity in contrast eq. A few other bits and bobs to try to sharpen, a bit of a crop, and a graduated density filter with a slight yellow hue with a reduction in ev.
