Color picker disabled with module edits so you can't use restrict to selected with the scopes....

I know there was some work on the color picker recently but the way it is now working for me seems like a step back if it is not a bug…

I often set the picker on a point or area and then use the restrict to selection option.

Now when I do this as soon as I go to any module and move a slider the histogram goes to the full image and the picker is disabled… so to monitor a specific region visually in parades or waveform I have to go back after each adjustment and re-enable the picker…

Has anyone else noticed this and is this the intended behaviour… to me this is short circuiting the restrict to selection setting of the colorpicker??

EDIT…it seems to me that if the user selects the option to restrict the scope output to the selection you can’t be disabling the picker or this breaks that feature… a check for the status of this checkbox should be included…

Behavior changed in PR 15202. The problem that was solved by 15202 was the global picker being active so that when you wanted to use a module with a parametric mask you couldn’t use the picker unless you disabled the global picker.

Ya I recall that issue but it has introduced this new one at least for me so basically the restrict to selection is broken…
