I’m troubleshooting some compatibility issues possibly with JPGs created from older versions of ART and DXO PL. The files show jpgs were created over the years using ART1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 with EXIF version 0230. I have others where the EXIF is 0221 or is blank and don’t appear to have the same issues. I don’t know if it is or was an issue or not. Just curious if anyone has experienced anything similar. I tested a recent export using ART1.5.4 and no EXIF version was listed on the properties tab. Again, the latest export doesn’t appear have the compatibility issue. I don’t have a lot images handy to confirm what is causing the problem, but wanted to ask if anyone recalls any problems with jpeg compatibility with possibly older versions or EXIF version 0230.
Yes, there was a bug that caused some incompatibilities with other apps, due to bad metadata tags being written to the output images. It should be fixed now, but if you are still seeing this, please do report it, thanks!
