Using 8.7.0. Recently when I drag and drop images between albums it goes ahead and moves them. It used to pop up a box and ask whether to copy or move. Have I turned something off? I can’t find a setting for this in configure digikam.
Yes, this is a very strange problem and has already been reported as a bug. Some users are experiencing this issue on Windows. I personally have three different Windows test computers (Win 10/11) where the issue doesn’t occur, and the popup always appears.
Please test the pre-release digiKam-8.8.0 to see if it can still be reproduced. We have updated it to Qt-6.9.1. Please provide feedback.

Thanks for your response. I have downloaded and tested 8.8.0 pre release and unfortunately the issue still occurs.

I have same issue since the new version 8.7.0
The problem has now been fixed in the pre-release version of digiKam-8.8.0.
