Console Missing in Mac Version 1.2RC1

New user here and have watched several YouTube videos on how to use Siril. For some reason I do not have a console to see what the program is doing. I installed it on a Windows machine and it is there, but it is missing on my Mac. Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance!

Any screenshot?

a screenshot is better displayed in a png or jpg image. Not a pdf.
However, your left panel is hidden. Just click on the white arrow to see the panel.

Hi. I have exactly the same problem with Siril (same version) on my Mac. I am not sure which white arrow is being referred to - I have tried every one I can see. Siril runs fine, as far as I can tell - the I run scripts they do execute (and I monitor outside Siril progress by checking file etc), however it feels like I am flying blind. Any suggestions welcome - thanks.

Same answers. We need screenshot to understand.

Also, siril 1.2 rc1 is deprecated.

Many thanks for help

Also, I saved log from terminal to desktop. Shall I copy to here for you to see ?

Is that just your problem too?

The only white arrow I see is the one next to the open key (top left) That does not do it . Is there another white arrow I am missing (beyond the ones for image processing, scripts)

On the right of the application. I see it in the screenshot… A Triangle.

Aha ! It escaped my view. However when I click it the panel/console still does not appear (though when I hover over it it does say it is a toggle to display/hide the panel)…

You can drag the panel then.

Alternatively you can remove this file

~/Library/Application Support/org.free-astro.Siril/siril/config.ini

After trying a couple of times (starting and killing/reloading program), using the arrow I somehow never noticed, it seems to be working OK now and I greatly appreciate your help (and speed of response !). Thanks, Peter
