Hi,
I updated Siril 1.3.6 this morning to head and built in MSYS2/MINGW64. I was running a modified version of the script ‘OSC_Preprocessing.ssf’ that I modified to work with Siril 1.3.6 and also to use pre-built master darks and flats instead of building them in the script. I used 115 images of 60s and Siril crashed at the end of the ‘seqapplyreg’ command and created a crash dump. I have attached the Siril log file from command line, and my script . I can’t seem to upload the crashdump file.
I’m running Win 11 Pro 24H2 on an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. I have been using Siril 1.3.6 for a few months now and have been using my modified scripts previousy without issue and updating about once a week. Siril Crash.txt (327.9 KB) OSC_Preprocessing_MyScript_with_masters.ssf (1.4 KB)
I’ve used an older modified ‘OSC_Preprocessing.ssf’ script that I have been using since I first used 1.3.6 and the crash still happens. I’ll now try an older set of images that did work last week.
Hi, I think I’ve fixed it: please could you test commit ff4f78742a9f922a25a463b8323ff0b49f3826f8 (the most recent commit to master).
I wasn’t running exactly the same script as you (just because of the files I had on hand) but I could repeatably cause a crash in the same place at the end of seqapplyreg, and with the fix I’ve made I can’t make it crash any more. Please could you confirm it fixes the crash for you too.
OK, I’ve tested with my original script and image set and also with a selection of other image sets and all have completed correctly. So, it seems fixed to me.
