[Crop module] 6x7 ratio missing

I have a Pentax 6x7, a medium format camera which produces images on the film that are 6 cm by 7 cm in size. According to wikipedia, the actual image on the film is 56 mm × 70 mm.

I’m wondering if there is a way to manually recreate this ratio in the crop module or if I have to open a feature request. I know I can use the freehand, but a preset would be nice.

I don’t think this is obvious from the UI, but in the crop module documentation it notes:

You can also enter any other ratio after opening the combobox by typing it in the form of “x:y” or as a decimal.

This is what the UI looks like:

Once you have your ratio, you can save it as a preset to easily reuse. However, given that negative size, the 1.25 ratio matches.

Isn’t this, in fact, the existing 1.25 crop then?

Shame on me! You are both right. I hadn’t even noticed the ratio. I was trivially looking for a 6x7.
The ratio was completely blind to my eyes.

missing ratios can be added via darktablerc file:

plugins/darkroom/clipping/extra_aspect_ratios/<name>=<x>:<y>
