Having trouble with your xmp. When I load it, all is good apart from the Spektralfilm module.

I have tried to manually copy all your Spektralfilm values but can’t get close to your result.

Not sure why. Thanks in advance

I use AppImage from @Arecsu :

A lot has changed there, and I’m not sure if you have the same version.

Thanks, I have a pretty recent macOS build from just a few days ago from this source but maybe even that now needs to be replaced by a later one.

I use the latest dmg that is posted there; I don’t know Linux.

I think piratenpanda is doing amazing work with this module and I am looking forward to where it goes from here

Thanks Boris.
I now have the 30 July build running on my mac and your edit shows up just fine.

The improvement in the film and paper styles in just 3 days is astonishing (in a good way)

My very first edit with ART.

Spektrafilm LUT with Kodak Gold 200 on Kodak Ektacolor Edge. A bit of preflash. Maybe a little high on the couplers - ? :man_shrugging:

A fun exercise for me. :grinning:

I love how so many edits are using Spektrafilm in one form or another these days.

gui_state.json.txt (6.5 KB)

Plain Spektrafilm on this one. I haven’t updated my copy of Spektrafilm in a while, so I don’t know how the gui state will load for someone else. Ektar 100 and Endura Premier.

gui_state_4.json.txt (6.5 KB)

Same, but a little darker, and a little less diffusion.

It still surprises me how much of a difference viewing size and environment make to how I see an image. I like the brighter one when it’s full screen, but when it’s smaller it feels like the bright parts and the diffusion dominate it.

Hi @BorisRabit !

I installed Spektrafilm and worked through some issues (needed Python3-devel etc.). I got it far enough to install, and the plug-in works with ART. So, good for that!

But I still cannot run the original spektrafilm. Sigh, these things are challenging for a non-expert!

I also have vkdt, which has a different set of spectrafilm controls. I’m happy for that, and used them to process some “Professional Headshots” I took for my son this weekend. I do like the film look. :grinning:

Spektrafilm is amazing. FYI I also have the OFX plugin for Resolve, and it is awesome! I think it may become my default ODT for new videos.

that one is quite nice especially the head and paw the bokeh looks a bit like clouds i think, the only thing i think could be better is that it slighly looks like he has a bump on his head
but really cool how would you even go about making something like this

Was so involved with the process that I didn’t notice the bump. Easily could have cloned that out. Oh well.

Appreciate the feedback.
