darktable 3.4 high cpu usage when idle

darktable seems to be eating cpu, even when I’m not using it.
Curretly, top shows 90% cpu usage.
All activity seems to be this:

Apparently, the cause is this:

I right-clicked the gamut check icon and switched to another application.

If I get back to darktable and hide that profiles window, cpu returns to normal usage.

This is darktable 3.4.0 on Ubuntu 20.04, no opencl
