Darktable 3.8.1 Extra Aspect Ratios in Cropping: Don't Work!

I am running Windows 7 and Darktable 3.8.1
I want to use 6:5 & & 7:6 aspect ratios for cropping.
They aren’t on the pulldown list of ratios.

I’ve tried adding the code lines to the config file, as directed by the Darktable website, but the new ratios don’t appear on my pulldown list.

Can anyone help me add these 2 missing ratios?
Or tell me why the amended config file isn’t adding them to the list?

Any reason you’re not using the latest 4.2.1?

Using the latest version, and the instructions from the 4.2 manual:

I added

plugins/darkroom/clipping/extra_aspect_ratios/sample from manual=191:100

to the configuration file, copied from darktable 4.2 user manual - crop and changing the name.

I’m using Windows 7.
Can 4.2.1 work on W7?

Windows 7 isn’t even supported by Microsoft… You should consider upgrading for a lot if reasons.

We don’t explicitly support Win 7 but it may work.
