I have been away from photography for a couple of years and, recently returned, I downloaded the latest version of Darktable onto my MacBook Pro. It seemed to work just fine. Today I attempted to import some new files but it keeps freezing. I get to: select ‘Copy and Import’ but, by the time I have navigated to the to the memory card and selected the files I want, the app has frozen. I have to Force Quit to get out of it. I have tried several times and always the same result. Is my best bet simply to remove Darktable and start again with a new download, or is there some known fix for this?
