Darktable - Crop Black borders

Hello,
I was fooling around with cropping, tried several different crops, and decided I liked the original size. When I set that option, I now have a black border on the left and right side of the image. What is causing that?
When I go to post it, It uploads with the black borders.
What did I do??

I can’t tell you what you did, but I can tell you some things that would be good to tell us:

  • What version of darktable are you running?
  • what operating system (Windows, Mac, a Linux distribution) are you running it on?
  • Can you provide the exact series of steps you followed to create the problem?
  • Has darktable ever not had this error for you?

Found the answer. The Framing module was on. Once I re-set it the problem disappeared.
I am running DT 4.6
Linux (PoP_Os 0 Ubuntu based)
As for steps, all I did was try several different crops without realizing there was a frame applied and this is the first time it has happened to me.
I think one of the crops just grossly enlarged the frame on either side.
It’s OK now.
