I hope you are able to help me. I was using devs darktable version installed by snap. Today when launching my Ubuntu 20.04 I could not find it. It seems still to be there, as I can find its status in snap-store as “Installed”. Even an update is found, but it cannot be installed. I got the following error:
Make current revision for snap “darktable” unavailable (internal error: only regular files are supported, got “d---------” instead)
Did I miss something?
your OS is no longer supported unless you have a paid subscription.

Not sure what you mean here. 20.04 is an LTS release with 5 years of normal support, until May of 2025.
https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle
that looks to me like 2023 was end for normal support.
but this Ubuntu | endoflife.date also says 2025
The first graphic doesn’t seem to line up straight across. The forth entry is 20.04, and the forth line is orange, normal support, until after the start of 2025.
At any rate, this seems to be a snap related issue more than a darktable one, and I don’t think the snap is packaged by the darktable project. Perhaps try to reach out to the packager, or get help on Ubuntu forums.
