So for some reason darktable is currently listed as proprietary on gnome software. This is the rpm not the flatpak.
Didn’t know where it was appropriate to report this but it seems problematic and should probably be fixed.
Sorry if this isn’t the appropriate place to bring this up.

This is normal, everything that is unknown to gnome-software is marked as proprietary. A stupid default, should be marked as unknown.

If it’s the rpm version, you should open a bug report on bugzilla.redhat.com and ask the darktable package maintainer to change this
