Darktable - Modules Alternative in Scene Referred Approach

I wanted to ask about people’s approaches for certain modules alternatives so that only the modules recommended for scene referred approach are used -

For example -
For Lowpass - I use 3 modules in a row - Exposure, Tone Equalizer and then Diffuse & Sharpen (all back to back before filmic module), for brightness, contrast and bloom. Not sure if this is the best approach so I thought to ask here.

Similarly, what would people recommend for color zone and color look up table alternates? If possible, can you show some examples?

Another question I had was - can we add few check layers in Darktable? Likes zones and saturation check layers? I know we get the JzCzHz in the mask, but can we also have those in the bottom panel or somewhere accessible ? Not sure if it is helpful at all to others but being colorblind, I tend to over saturate images (I think).

What exactly do you mean by “check layers”? In the darkroom view, there are already buttons to check luminance and saturation (the “slashed square”) and gamut (the “danger” button).

I mean a way to visualize the saturation on the image. I was saying if it is possible to get the Jz, Cz and Hz as something that could be toggled in the bottom panel, along with its availability in masks !

You can do some things in color balance but There is no problem for me …when I want I use color zones and the color lookup table
