I just installed dt from snap.
When I try to find what is where, I found strange file name
This is darktable.lesfun-update-data
Is this correct ?
Probably not, but it’s an executable, so it should still work.
But you could have issues if that executable is called from a script as e.g. “darktable.lensfun-update-data”.
But to get that name changed, you’ll probably have to contact the packager, it’s not something the darktable devs can control (*). The command usually is “lensfun-update-data” (but then, lensfun is a library, which doesn’t need to be packaged with darktable for e.g. deb or rpm packages)
(*: unless one of the devs is the packager…)
Snap, like flatpak, packages its own version of all dependencies. Looks like you can update its lensfun db, which is nice.
