Darktable won't start after Windows crash

Hi
Earlier today my laptop restarted with a Windows BSOD. At the time I had Darktable open and importing files.
After rebooting darktable would not start - I got what looked like a terminal window appear very briefly, then nothing.
Starting from inside cmd.exe didn’t yield any terminal output, even with the -d all option (although darktable.exe --version would work - this is 3.4.1.1). There was no darktable.log file anywhere under appdata/local, and I couldn’t find any .lock files either.

I’ve got Darktable back by renaming appdata/local/darktable and restarting, but wondered (a) whether I can restore/repair my library database (not that that’s critical), and (b) whether the contents of the renamed directory would be helpful for debugging?

Thanks
James

Put the files from your app data folder into the new darktabke folder one by one, starting darktable after each file, then closing it. That should tell you which files are the problem and which you should spend time trying to repair.
