Love the topics title, sounds like a cool children’s book :-)!
Right or wrong, mine looks cold. I have seen many December days that look like this, though.
Definitely looks like a cold day. I went for a widescreen crop and tried to bring up the colours as much as possible.
G’MIC’s Autobalance. Then, created a color amplifying convolution layer (desat grain extract) and Grain Merged multiple layers of it to amplify the color. Then ran G’MIC’s Iain Denoise preset and then blended some Buzz (Buzz filter; yes an oldie and likely no longer available but I have so many toys that I collected over the past 25 years; lol) to rid some of the tree noise (not perfect). I then blurred the sky to reduce the noise there even more. Overall not perfect, but you have to admit, the color’s back. lol
Could have done a better job to whiten the clouds, though, but I pushed things enough for this one. lol

DT 5.3 AgX. I applied an artistic filter from diffuse or sharpen and when using these filters the results differ greatly depending on high quality processing being activated or deactivated. I had it activated in this case.
Thanks for the inputs, always nice too see others vision. By the way it was around 7°c, so not that cold.
7C !, That is cold for guy in San Francisco area. haha ![]()
