Deletion Problem

I just deleted an entire set of images from a folder.
The folder was a duplicate, and was not needed.
All of the images correctly were removed but the folder remains in the system and when opened it appears to be empty.
When I open the folder in the file manage I find that all of the images are still in place.
What’s going on!
Manjaro/Arch/XFCE/current git.

Couldn’t say for sure but did you do remove?? Delete key is mapped to remove by default I believe…

It can be confusing but you need to trash them… see the two options in LT view… remove just removes the thumbs…

I was under the impression that I used the ‘Trash’ option!

Just checking…

Have you tried to open any of the images? Occasionally when using krusader it doesnt refresh the list correctly. This might be a similar case, but i’d check to see if the images are really there. Try to open one.

and try to check if the originals are still around, you may have deleted the wrong set… :open_mouth:

The images are still in place but when I add them back into the system they only show-up as skulls.
I am a bit fearful of physically deleating them off the drive for fear of blowing-up the db.

What file manager are you opening it in?
