Of course, there’s a large amount of noise to be removed by the stacking process, but definitively there’s still residual noise in the linear image, which would be advantageous to reduce before the image is stretched. I saw the median filter tool, but the thing is that it’s not working for me to respect the stars and preserve the edges satisfactorily (they get affected and faint stars get blurred).
