development build crashes using "f" or "z" keys

I am not sure if this is the right place to report issues in the development builds, but…

Windows 10 Pro, version 20H2, build 19042.1110
AMD A10-7860K Radeon R7 with 16,0 GB RAM
RawTherapee_dev_5.8-2983-g3f58095b6_20210604_win64.zip (from automated builds)

Issue:
When opening RT with a raw file name from the command line it crashes without any message when using “f” or “z” keys to scale the picture in the editor. It does not crash when using the icons in the buttom line for the same purpose.

When starting RT from desktop and open a file from the RT file browser it does not crash when using these keys.

I’m not able to reproduce this.

I am a few versions ahead of you (self build) and use Linux.

  • RawTherapee version : 5.8-3055-g2b2f1f5bd
  • OS : Linux (kernel 5.9.15-1 x86_64 amd64)
  • Distro : Debian Buster (rel. 10.10)
  • Graphics driver : nvidia (460.39)
  • CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
  • GPU : GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 7979 MiB
  • Memory : 32 Gb + 15 Gb Swap

Thanks Mica and Jaques for the hints. It seems that this windows version is outdated. I’ll wait for a later version, check again and place a bug report on github if the bug still occurs.

RTW64NightlyBuilds has a newer version available for Windows (5.8-3012). Maybe worth trying.

That’s it! No crash any more. Thanks for the link Jacques (I downloaded the previous version from the automated builds link from GitHub).
