Different presentation of RAW and TIF in the RT File Browser

Please take a look at this screen copy from my RT File Browser:

Marsvinsholms-kirke-raw-vs-tif

The RAW file has only had the Capture Sharpening, but it already looks sharp all over in the editor. The TIF has been output sharpened to the screen (in Photoshop).
Nevertheless the difference in sharpness of the previews is apparent. It looks as if the RAW file (ARW) is sharp in the center but gets more and more blurred towards the edges - while the TIF version is sharp in general as one would expect.

What could the explanation be? - and is there a way to improve the presentation of the RAW file in the File Browser? (it would of course be silly to sharpen sharp images in the editor further).
