Hi all, my system is quite old, but the specs say that with macOS 10.13 , Digikam 7.9 works.
But it’s not like that, the installation goes without problems but the program doesn’t start, I get this message:
Unable to open digikam due to a problem.
Consult the developer to make sure digikam works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Make sure you install all available app and macOS updates.

Why do you want version 5.9 and not something much newer?
You mean 7.9, not 5.9?

Do any of you have High Sierra on your mac? Can you run Digikam 7.9? Thank you.
