Hello, my digikam 8.7.0 (Windows 10, MySQL internal database) starts scanning all photo collections again after I add a new local (!) folder in ‘Settings/Setup digikam/Collections’. I think this is absolutely not necessary since it could take ages because part of the collections are located on network drives. It would be enough if digikam scans the newly added folder only. Is there a way to tell digikam this?
